to become a Centre of excellence in inculcating African freedom, identity and unity
That's our Vision
In this regard, the work of the Centre is to promote the principles adopted and practiced by Kamanda
Rajabu Diwani: rejection of a culture of hegemony and subjugation of one society or community by
another; and fundamental commitment to human emancipation, human dignity, solidarity, and peaceful
coexistence within and between communities and societies

To advance Africa’s cultural, socio-political and socio-economic unity, through youth collaboration, conscientisation, collaboration and partnership
That's Our Misssion Statement
According to Article 8 of the Trust Deed, the Centre's mission is to promote Africa’s cultural, socio-political, and socio-economic unity through youth collaboration, awareness, and partnerships. In line with Kamanda Rajabu Diwani’s philosophy, the Centre aims to achieve emancipation by equipping individuals and communities with knowledge, skills, resources, and access to justice. It seeks to foster peaceful relations, African unity, global solidarity, and self-reliant development while ensuring a people-centered approach to inclusive and transformative development that respects all aspects of human rights.
Spirit of Kamanda
Transformative development
a comprehensive approach to development that seeks to fundamentally change and improve the economic, social, and institutional structures of a society. Unlike incremental development, which focuses on gradual improvements, transformative development aims for profound and systemic changes that can lead to sustainable and equitable growth.
Systemic Change
It targets deep-rooted issues within societal systems, such as governance, education, health, and economic structures, to create long-lasting improvements.
Sustainability
Focuses on creating solutions that are environmentally sustainable and economically viable in the long term, rather than just providing short-term fixes.
